LeBron, Bronny James 1st preseason father-son duo

LeBron James – entering his 22nd season – and newly-turned 20-year-old Bronny James took the floor for their first game action as Lakers teammates, both playing against the Suns in a preseason matchup on Sunday.
LeBron started, and Bronny checked in alongside him to open the second quarter. The elder James finished with 19 points, five rebounds, four assists and two blocks in 16 minutes; the younger turned in a scoreless outing, pulling down two rebounds and committing four turnovers.
It marked an early preview of a looming NBA first, which will come whenever the pair makes its respective NBA debuts. They will become the 1st father-son duo to play in the NBA at the same time, let alone alongside each other.
